Radio host and television presenter for the programs BBC Asian Network Breakfast show and Saturday Mash-Up! She helped launch The Bhangra Project on the BBC Asian network.

She graduated from Leeds Trinity University in England with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. She was a DJ for 6 years before working for BBC.

Her favorite color is pink.

She is of Punjabi descent and her family practices the Sikh religion. She also has one brother.

She has interviewed will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas .
