Prominent researcher in Eastern medicine studies as well as a prolific writer of more than 200 books on a variety of topics. He is one of Pakistan's most preeminent and widely cited medical researchers.
He started off as a junior researcher for Hamdard Waqf Laboratories.
He founded Hamdard University in 1985.
He was married and had one daughter.
He and Bif Naked grew up in New Delhi.
