ABOUT GREGOR TOWNSEND
Versatile rugby player who enjoyed a very successful career and served as coach for the Scottish national team from 2008 to 2012.
He earned his first full cap for Scotland in 1993 and eventually became their head coach.
He made a last-second reverse pass against France in 1995 that has been famously referred to as the 'toonie flip.'
His brother Craig also became a professional rugby player.
He played alongside Gavin Hastings on the Scottish national team.
