ABOUT GREG HOLLAND

Right-handed reliever who made his MLB debut in 2010 with the Kansas City Royals and earned his first All-Star bid in 2013, saving 47 games and posting a 1.21 ERA. He helped the Royals win the 2014 AL Pennant and the 2015 World Series Championship.

He graduated from McDowell High School in North Carolina.

He played baseball at Western Carolina University.

He was born in Morganton, North Carolina.

Athletic catcher Jason Kendall was his teammate on the Royals.
