Hall of Fame hockey coach who won the Stanley Cup four times with the Edmonton Oilers and became the GM of the New York Rangers in 2000.
He played junior hockey for the Edmonton Oil Kings.
He played left wing in the NHL for several teams, the majority of his career coming with the Rangers.
He was born in High River, Alberta, Canada.
He coached "The Great One" Wayne Gretzky on the Oilers.
