ABOUT GHERMAN TITOV

Soviet cosmonaut who was the second human to orbit the Earth and the fourth person in space.

He was General-Colonel in the Soviet Air Force.

He had many other firsts: first person to orbit Earth multiple times, first to spend more than a day in space, first to sleep in space, and first to experience space sickness.

He married and had two children.

He was preceded in space by cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin , the first person to orbit Earth.
