ABOUT GEORGE VEIKOSO

Singer, songwriter, and musician known professionally as Fiji. Some of his notable songs include "Lia," "Sweet Darlin'," and "Lonely Days." His many decades of respected musical output earned him a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2021 Pacific Music Awards.

He was briefly a member of the band Rootstrata before he launched his solo career.

He won the Na Hoku Hanohano Award for Male Vocalist of the Year in 1998. He shares updates about his musical releases and live shows on his f1j1 Instagram account, where he has gained upwards of 210,000 followers.

His uncle, Sakiusa Bulicokocoko, was a famous Fijian musician.

He and Sammy Johnson collaborated on the 2023 single "Tell Me."
