ABOUT GEORGE SCHMITZ

Drummer known for his time with the band Stick to Your Guns , with whom he's recorded the albums The Hope Division, Diamond, and Disobedient.

He started seriously playing drums when he was 10 years old and started playing in a cover band in 7th grade.

He joined STYG in 2008 while at a show his friend was playing at. There, he was approached by the band, who needed a drummer to go on tour.

He grew up in the midwest, a native of Kansas City, Missouri, far from STYG's roots of southern California.

He and Jesse Barnett have played together as part of STYG.
