3-time MLB All-Star left fielder who was named 1987 American League MVP with the Toronto Blue Jays.
He played college baseball at Biola University.
In 1988, he became the first player ever to hit three home runs on opening day.
He had four children: Din, Shadelyn, Michael, and Brainel.
In 1991, he was involved in a trade that sent Sammy Sosa to the Chicago Cubs and Bell ended up on the White Sox.
