ABOUT GARY FENCIK

Safety with the Chicago Bears in the 1980s who was a two-time Pro Bowler and helped the team win Super Bowl XX.

He played football at Yale, and while still playing with the Bears completed an MBA at Northwestern.

He was part of the Bears' 1985 group that made the gold record single Super Bowl Shuffle.

He was born in Chicago, Illinois.

Known for his brutal hits, he was nicknamed one of the Bears hit men, leading John Madden to make the claim that having him play for Yale was like saying clean dirt.
