ABOUT GARETH A. DAVIES
Award-winning journalist and broadcaster known as one of the leading reporters covering boxing and MMA. He has worked in print, radio and television. He spent 25 years at The Telegraph, 15 years on radio with TalkSPORT and 12 years working on television with BT Sport, FOX, ESPN and Setanta Sports. He has hosted more than 30 documentaries.
He attended the University of London. He earned a master's degree in applied linguistics.
He worked as a boxing analyst on live broadcasts at Wembley Stadium and The Millennium Stadium. He had roles in documentaries including 2018's Pistorius and 2020's Tyson Fury : The Gypsy King. He launched a podcast titled Fighting Spirits with Gareth A Davies.
He is from England.
He appeared in the 2018 documentary Katie, about Irish boxer Katie Taylor 's attempt to rekindle her career.
