ABOUT GABRIEL SARA

Brazilian professional soccer player known for his skills as a midfielder and for playing for Brazil's São Paulo FC, England's Norwich City, and Turkey's Galatasaray. He is also known for playing a crucial role in São Paulo's triumph in the Campeonato Paulista in 2021.

He joined São Paulo FC's youth academy in 2013 when he was 14 years old. He won the Campeonato Paulista Sub-15 in 2014 and the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior (Copinha) in 2019. He made his professional debut for São Paulo's senior team in December 2017.

He became the first Brazilian-born player to represent Norwich City in July 2022. His performances earned him the Norwich City Player of the Season award for 2022-23. He was named in the EFL Championship Team of the Season for 2023-24. He enjoys paddleboarding and taking his dogs for walks along the coast.

His full name is Gabriel Davi Gomes Sara. He was born and raised in Joinville, Brazil. His father played soccer and encouraged his passion for soccer at a young age.

He was managed by Rogerio Ceni during his time playing for São Paulo FC.
