Rapper and promoter associated with the rap group Lost Boyz. He was tragically gunned down outside the Sheraton Hotel in Queens in March 1999.
He and Lost Boyz' debut single, "Lifestyles Of The Rich & Shameless", was a success and charted on the Billboard 100.
His death at the age of 27 put him the infamous "27 Club" of musicians who died at the age of 27.
He had two children, Kahlil and Shantanice, with his fiance Shannon Roquemore.
He and guitar legend Jimi Hendrix are both members of the ill-fated so-called "27 Club".
