ABOUT FRANKLIN GERMAN

Professional pitcher that was drafted by the New York Yankees during the fourth round of the 2018 MLB Draft. He was later acquired by the Boston Red Sox via trade in January 2021. Prior to his professional baseball career, he played collegiate baseball at the University of North Florida.

He graduated from Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School prior to enrolling at the University of North Florida. While at UNF, he played in the Cape Cod Baseball League during the summer time.

He made his official major league debut pitching against the Kansas City Royals on September 17, 2022, as a member of the Red Sox. He gave up 4 earned runs during his debut.

He grew up living with his family in Queens, New York.

He pitched against Salvador Pérez and Bobby Witt Jr. during his major league debut.
