ABOUT FRAMBER VALDEZ

Pitcher who was signed by the Houston Astros as an international free agent in 2015. He made history in 2020, becoming the first relief pitcher to throw 5 scoreless innings in the playoffs since Madison Bumgarner during Game 7 of the 2014 World Series. He was the winning pitcher in Game 6 of the 2022 World Series, helping the Astros capture the team's second-ever World Series title.

He began his professional career playing for the Astros' rookie affiliate team the DSL Astros.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Seattle Mariners on August 21, 2018.

He is a native of Palenque, Dominican Republic.

He played alongside Carlos Correa during the 2021 MLB season.
