ABOUT FELIPE AUGUSTO

Brazilian footballer who is best known for his work playing for the Portuguese club S.L. Benfica as a defensive midfielder.

He first joined Esporte Clube Bahia's youth setup in 2009 when he was 16 years old. He was promoted to the first team in 2012 by manager Paulo Roberto Falcão. He renewed his contract with the club in February 2012 until 2014 and in 2014, he began playing professionally for Rio Ave.

While playing for Rio Ave in the Primeira Liga, he made a total of 36 appearances.

He was born and raised in Itambé, Brazil.

As a defensive midfielder, he can be seen in relation to others who play the same position including Sergio Busquets , Claude Makelele , Patrick Vieira , and N'Golo Kanté .
