ABOUT FARY
French comedian, actor, and producer who gained international recognition for his Netflix specials, Fary: Hexagone and Fary Is the New Black. He originally rose to fame by participating on the show On n'demande qu'a en rire on France 2 before going on to perform a sold-out show at the Grand Point Virgule in Paris.
He was raised in the suburb of Saint-Maur-des Fossés. Originally encouraged by his history and geography teacher at Lycée Marcelin-Berthelot, he began writing stand-up routines in school and mad his comedic debut on open-mic segments on television in 2010.
He co-founded the Paris comedy club Madame Sarfati in 2019 with artist JR and fellow comedian Paolin Pascot. In 2024, he was awarded the Prix SACD Humour.
He was born to a refrigeration technician and a childcare assistant, both of whom were from Cabo Verde. In 2022, he revealed that he was in a relationship with fashion designer Amina Muaddi .
He co-starred with Vincent Cassel and Laura Felpin in the 2025 music film, Banger.
