His first television role came in 1980, when he was selected to host Il Barattolo.

He's provided the Italian dub of Woody in Toy Story and has also appeared on the shows Quelli che...il Calcio, and La Zingara. He had a role in an episode of Notti sul Ghiaccio.

He was married to Rita Dalla Chiea from 1992-2002. He married Carlotta Mantovan in 2014.
