Professional reliever that was signed by the Baltimore Orioles via a minor league contract in 2016. Prior to Baltimore, he played in the Miami Marlins minor league system.

He first began his professional baseball career in 2012. He was signed by the Marlins as an international free agent in November 2012.

He made his official major league pitching against the Tampa Bay Rays on April 10, 2022, as a member of the Orioles. His earned run average through the 2022 season was 2.19.

He grew up living with his family in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He now has a son named Xander Miguel.

During his professional career, he has pitched against MLB players such as Aaron Judge , Anthony Rizzo , Xander Bogaerts , and Wander Franco .
