He played high school football for Bethel High School in Washington state.

He played college football as an offensive tackle for Boise State University . He was named to the All-MWC first-team two consecutive years in 2018 and 2019.

He blocked for Dalvin Cook while playing for the Minnesota Vikings in 2020.
