ABOUT EZEQUIEL DURAN

Professional third baseman that was first signed by the New York Yankees as an international free agent in 2017. He was later traded to the Texas Rangers as a part of the infamous Joey Gallo trade in July 2021. He was once a top 100 prospect in the Yankees farm system.

He officially began his professional career playing for the DSL Yankees rookie affiliate. Over 15 games, he recorded a .393 batting average.

He made his major league debut playing against the Seattle Mariners on June 4, 2022. The very next day, he collected his first MLB hit and a home run during a 2-for-4 effort. His baseball has garnered him more than 20,000 followers on his Instagram page.

He grew up living with his family in San Juan de la Maguana, Dominican Republic.
