ABOUT EUGENIO SUáREZ

Professional infielder that was signed by the Detroit Tigers as an international free agent back in 2008. He was acquired by the Cincinnati Reds via trade in December 2014. He was a first time Major League All-Star in 2019.

He began his professional career playing for the Tigers rookie affiliate team the Venezuelan Summer League Tigers.

He made his major league debut playing against the Boston Red Sox on June 4, 2014 as a member of the Tigers.

He is a native of Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela.

He played alongside Joey Votto during the 2021 MLB Season.
