ABOUT ETHAN MICHAEL ROBERTS

Right-handed relief pitcher that was drafted by the Chicago Cubs during the fourth round of the 2018 Major League Draft. A few years later, he was named one of the Cubs' top 100 MLB prospects following the 2022 minor league season. In the summer of 2022, he injured his arm and was not able to play for the season.

Prior to being drafted, he attended Tennessee Technological University. He pitched at Tennessee Tech for three seasons.

He finished his collegiate career at Tennessee Tech as the program's record holder for career saves. He earned All-Ohio Valley Conference First Team honors in each of his last two seasons.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Sparta, Tennessee.

He played alongside Seiya Suzuki and Ian Happ during his MLB debut.
