ABOUT ERNESTO FRIERI

Former MLB reliever that pitched for the San Diego Padres , the Los Angeles Angels , Pittsburgh Pirates , Tampa Bay Rays , and Texas Rangers during his eight-year career. He later signed a professional contract to pitch in the Mexican Baseball League in the year 2018.

He initially began his professional baseball career with the Padres rookie affiliate team the AZL Padres. He was eventually promoted to the Lake Elsinore Storm.

He made his official MLB debut while pitching against the Arizona Diamondbacks on September 26, 2009. He collected two strikeouts in one scoreless inning that was pitched.

Growing up, he lived with his family in the Arjona, Colombia area. He now lives with his wife and their child.

He played alongside Albert Pujols as a member of the Angels during the 2014 MLB season.
