ABOUT ERIKA DE CASIER
R&B singer, vocalist, entertainer, performer, artist, composer, and songwriter who released her breakout 2021 album Sensational after signing to 4AD. She later teamed up with electronic music producer Mura Masa for the 2022 single "E-motions." She also collaborated with K-pop group NewJeans as a co-songwriter for their 2023 EP Get Up.
She grew up watching MTV and painting. She launched her music career upon joining R&B duo Saint Cava.
Her musical influences include Aaliyah , Destiny's Child , and Portishead. Her music has received favorable reviews in publications such as Pitchfork, The Fader, and The Guardian.
Her mother is Belgian and her father is Cape Verdean.
She remixed Dua Lipa 's single "Physical."
