ABOUT ERIK JOHANSSON

Photographer who is known for his landscape pictures which often feature surrealistic elements. By combining photography and his unique style of editing, he has created a genre of his own.

He first began posting pictures to his Instagram in May of 2011.

The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency awarded him the Nature Photographer of the Year in 2015.

He was born and raised in Sweden, but continues to pursue his career as a photographer in Prague.

As a photographer who focuses in the realm of surrealism, he can be seen in relation to other surrealist artists including Salvador Dali , Rene Magritte , and Max Ernst .
