Professional southpaw that was drafted by the Kansas City Royals during the 13th round of the 2014 Major League Draft. He was later signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates in June 2022. He has also pitched in the Chicago Cubs , Miami Marlins , Cincinnati Reds , and the San Diego Padres .

He was drafted out of Butler University . He pitched at Butler for three seasons.

He made his official major league debut pitching against the Milwaukee Brewers on April 25, 2018, as a member of the Royals. He is the only player in MLB history to be born in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. His baseball fame has earned him over 4,000 followers on Instagram.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. He is the oldest of three siblings.

He once played collegiate sports at Butler just like Gordon Hayward .
