Football coach who gained widespread fame as the offensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs . He helped his team win Super Bowl LIV at the conclusion of the 2019-2020 season.

He finished as a consensus All-American running back in 1990 playing for the University of Colorado Buffaloes. He finished 3rd in that year's Heisman Trophy voting.

He played as a running back in the NFL between 1991 and 1999. He led the Kansas City Chiefs' 2018 offense to scoring the third most points in a season in NFL history during his first year as offensive coordinator.

He has two sons with his wife Mia.

He coached Patrick Mahomes II during his time as the Kansas City Chiefs' offensive coordinator.
