ABOUT EMMET SHEEHAN

Former Boston College Eagle that played college baseball there from 2019 until 2021. Following his junior season, he was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers as a sixth round pick in the 2021 MLB Draft. Just two years later, he was named one of the Dodgers' Top 100 MLB prospects.

He initially began his high school baseball career at the Fordham Preparatory School. After three years, he then transferred to the Salisbury School.

He made his official major league debut while facing the San Francisco Giants on June 16, 2023. He pitched 8 consecutive hit-less innings to begin his MLB career, which is the most since 1967.

Although he was born in New York City, he grew up living with his family in Connecticut. His mother, Maureen, was a former college athlete.

He collected his first major league strikeout while facing Mike Yastrzemski .
