ABOUT EMILY HAHN
Journalist and author who was labeled a forgotten literary treasure by The New Yorker.
She switched her major from English to Engineering while studying at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and became the first woman from the university to obtain a degree in Mining Engineering.
She authored over 50 books over the course of her career.
She married Charles Boxer in 1945 and had two daughters named Carola and Amanda.
She was once commissioned to write the biography of poet D.H. Lawrence .
