Nigerian rapper who rose to fame for his 2021 album Sex Over Love. "Bling," the third track off the album, has become a fan favorite, racking up millions of streams on Spotify since its release. He blends English and Yoruba in his music, and has dubbed himself "Best Rapper in Africa."
He started rapping at the age of 13. He later began competing in underground rap battles and won Terry Tha Rapman's Zombie Competition in 2012.
He was profiled by the New York Times in the 2019 article "The New Guard of Nigerian Musicians." His music is featured on his blaqbonez Instagram account, where he has amassed over 1.5 million followers.
He is of Igbo descent. His mother is a pastor.
He collaborated with Amaarae on his 2021 single "Bling."
