ABOUT ELVIS PEGUERO

Professional pitcher that signed his first professional contract with the New York Yankees as an international free agent in 2015. He was later acquired by the Los Angeles Angels via trade in July 2021. In November of 2022, he was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers .

After signing with the Yankees in 2015, he began his professional career playing for the DSL Yankees affiliate team. The following season he was promoted to the GCL Yankees.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Baltimore Orioles on August 26, 2021, as a member of the Angels. His team lost the game 13-1.

He grew up living with his family in Cotuí, Dominican Republic.

He was once packaged in a trade that included Andrew Heaney .
