ABOUT ELVIN RODRIGUEZ

Professional pitcher that was signed by the Los Angeles Angels in July 2014. He was later acquired by the Detroit Tigers via trade in 2017. In November of 2022, he elected free agency.

He began his professional career playing for the DSL Angels rookie affiliate team. He also played for the AZL Angels.

He made his official major league debut pitching against the Chicago White Sox on April 10, 2022, as a member of the Tigers. He recorded exactly 29.2 innings pitched during his rookie season.

He is a native of San Cristóbal, Dominican Republic.
