Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos
ABOUT ELIZEU ZALESKI DOS SANTOS
Veteran mixed martial artist and athlete that primarily competes in the men's welterweight division. He is a Black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and he also trains in both Muay Thai and Capoeira. He is often referred to by his nickname of "Capoeira."
He first learned the discipline of capoeira as a young boy at the age of nine. He later decided to pursue a professional fighting career at the young age of 20.
He won his first professional fighting match in November of 2009 after defeating Douglas Jandozo. He would eventually go on to win eight of his first ten MMA matches. He stands five feet, 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds when fighting in the ring.
He is a native of Francisco Beltrão, Brazil.
He once had the opportunity to fight Abubakar Nurmagomedov during his professional MMA career.
