ABOUT ELIZAVETA GERDT

Russian teacher and dancer, most known for working with the Bolshoi Ballet.

When she was young, she studied under Michel Fokine at the Imperial Ballet School.

After the Russian Revolution, she was one of the only world-class instructors/dancers who chose to stay in Russia.

She married Samuil Adrianov in 1884.

She and Alla Pugacheva are both originally from Russia.
