ABOUT ELI MORGAN

Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Cleveland Indians during the eighth round of the 2017 MLB draft. Prior to being drafted, he attended Gonzaga University where he was twice selected to the All-West Coast Conference First Team. He finished his collegiate career third in strikeouts and second in wins in his program's history.

He began his professional career playing for Cleveland's single-A affiliate the Mahoning Valley Scrappers.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Toronto Blue Jays on May 28, 2021.

He grew up living with his parents, Diana and Dave, and his sister Briana.

He played alongside José Ramírez as a member of Cleveland's team in 2021.
