ABOUT EILEEN MCNAMARA
Pulitzer prize-winning journalist who worked at the Boston Globe for over thirty years. She won the award for Commentary in 1999.
She graduated from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in 1976 after getting her undergraduate degree from Barnard College.
She contributed to the Boston Globe's coverage of the clergy sexual abuse scandal in 2003.
She had three children with husband, Peter May.
She won the Pulitzer Prize for Commentary in 1999, two years before Maureen Dowd did.
