ABOUT EDWARD CABRERA

Professional pitcher that was signed by the Miami Marlins as an international free agent in 2015. While pitching in the Marlins' farm system for the Jupiter Hammerheads, he was named a Florida State League All-Star in 2019.

He began his professional career playing for the Marlins' rookie affiliate team the GCL Marlins.

He made his major league debut pitching on August 25, 2021.

He is a native of Santiago, Dominican Republic.

He played alongside Joe Panik during the 2021 MLB season.
