ABOUT EDUARDO PEREZ

Former professional baseball player and coach who is known for his time on ESPN's Baseball Tonight as an analyst. He played 13 seasons in the MLB from 1993 to 2006.

He attended Florida State University, where he studied political science while playing on the school's baseball team. In 1991, the California Angels selected him in the 1st round, 17th overall, in the MLB Draft.

He hit 4 career home runs against Randy Johnson , which was his most against any one pitcher. He has served as a manager in the Puerto Rico Baseball League, as well as a hitting and bench coach in the MLB.

He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and spent a large portion of his youth in Puerto Rico.

He is the son of the Hall of Fame baseball player Tony Perez .
