ABOUT EDGAR QUERO

Switch-hitting catcher that was initially signed by the Los Angeles Angels as an international free agent in 2021. He was later named a top 5 prospect in the Angels farm system. After two seasons, he was then acquired by the Chicago White Sox .

He first began his professional baseball career with the AZL Angels rookie affiliate team. He was eventually promoted to the Inland Empire 66ers.

He made his official MLB debut as a member of the White Sox while playing against the Oakland Athletics . Unfortunately, he went hitless in his debut match.

He is a native of Cienfuegos, Cuba.

He played alongside Andrew Benintendi as a member of the White Sox during the 2025 MLB regular season.
