Australian chef and television personality who became famous through his cooking segment on Better Homes and Gardens. He has also been a presenter on Discover Tasmania and is the author of several books, including 2004's Nove Cucina.
He got a job as a kitchen hand at a restaurant at age fifteen. He was asked to take over as head chef after the previous head chef resigned.
He plays trombone and trumpet. In college, he was a member of an acid jazz group.
He married a woman named Leah and has children Finn and Luca.
