Right-handed starting pitcher that was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks during the first round of the 2019 Major League Draft. Prior to his professional career, he played college baseball at Ball State University . During his sophomore season, he was named MAC Pitcher of the Year.

He initially began his professional career playing for the Hillsboro Hops.

He pitched against the San Diego Padres during his MLB debut. He finished his rookie season with a 1.48 earned run average in four MLB starts. He has garnered over 10,000 followers on his personal Instagram account.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Greenfield, Indiana.

He was drafted by the Diamondbacks to begin his professional career just like Christian Walker .
