ABOUT DREW MINARD

Dancer and stage performer best known for his performance as Billy in the Broadway production of Billy Elliott the Musical. He was the 12th boy to play Billy on a North American tour run.

He began practicing dance at the age of three. He studied and trained at the Iowa Ballet Academy in Urbandale, Iowa.

In his youth he was a recipient of the Youth America Grand Prix's highly regarded Hope Award.

He is originally from Des Moines, Iowa.

Both he and fellow stage performer Liam Mower portrayed Billy in Billy Elliot the Musical.
