ABOUT DONN CLENDENON

First baseman who was part of the World Series-winning 1969 New York "Miracle" Mets and was named World Series MVP.

He played multiple sports at Booker T. Washington High School in Georgia.

After his playing career was over, he got a Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University and became a practicing lawyer.

His father Claude was a math and psychology professor.

Hall of Fame ace Tom Seaver was his teammate on the Mets.
