Guitarist and former member of the ambient rock band, Keane.
He and his band, Keane, were originally known as The Lotus Eaters and originally performed covers of other artists.
His departure from Keane actually aided the band in developing their unique guitar-free rock sound.
His family was Irish, though he later moved to England.
He was heavily influenced by fellow Irish rocker Bono .
