Professional catcher that was drafted by the Colorado Rockies during the sixth round of the 2013 MLB Draft. He began his professional career playing for the Rockies' rookie affiliate team the Grand Junction Rockies.

Prior to being drafted, he attended Elk Grove High School.

He made his major league debut playing against the Arizona Diamondbacks on August 13, 2019.

He is a native of Elk Grove, California.

He played alongside Charlie Blackmon as a member of the Rockies during the 2019 MLB season.
