ABOUT DILLON DINGLER
Big league catcher that was initially drafted by the Detroit Tigers as second round pick in the 2020 MLB Draft. He previously played college baseball at Ohio State University . During his time at Ohio State, he earned All-Big Ten Academic team honors twice.
He was three-sport athlete while at Jackson High School. In 2017, he was named the Stark County Athlete of the Year.
As a senior in high school, he won a state championship in basketball and baseball. He only lost one game in his final two seasons of baseball.
Growing up, he lived with his parents and his two siblings. Both of his parents played sports while in college.
He played alongside Javier Báez as a member of the Tigers during the 2024 MLB season.
