Professional shortstop and middle infielder that was first signed by the New York Yankees as an international free agent in 2014. He was later acquired by the Pittsburgh Pirates via trade in July 2021. Through the 2022 season, he maintained a batting average of .206.

He first began his professional career playing for the DSL Yankees rookie affiliate team. He was later sent to the GCL Yankees.

He made his official major league debut playing against the St. Louis Cardinals on April 7, 2022, as a member of the Pirates. He finished his debut going 0 for 3.

He grew up living with his family in Barquisimeto, Venezuela.

He was once packaged in a trade that also included Hoy Park .
