She's lived in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Her mother Sarah was born in Kenya as a child of missionaries.
Her father grew up in Kenya and her mother grew up in Illinois. They met in Kenya at a church conference.
In December 2023, her mother posted an Instagram video set to music by The Beatles , a band that features singer Paul McCartney .
