ABOUT DEREK DEANE
English dancer and choreographer who served as the Artistic Director of the English National Ballet until 2001 and was Principal Dancer in the Royal Ballet.
He pursued his formal training at the Royal Ballet School before starting his career.
At the Queen's Birthday in 2000, he was named an Officer of the Order of the British Empire, a hugely prestigious honor.
He was born in Redruth, England.
